Arnprior Community Choir

The primary goal of the Arnprior Community Choir (ACC) is to provide entertainment throughout the region. The choir does this through presentations of a variety of music to organizations and groups; by hiring young emerging soloists originally from the Ottawa Valley who are developing their musical careers; and by providing choral music that both challenges and entertains its membership in an enthusiastic and uplifting rehearsal. In 2020/2021 we are celebrating our 30th Anniversary.
ACC was first established in 1991, as a course for the night school Continuing Education program at the Arnprior District High School. This support allowed the community choir to create a “home” in which to develop and flourish as a musical ensemble. Founded by the current musical director, Lisa Webber, the choir quickly doubled, then tripled in membership, and has become a mainstay in the cultural Arts community in Arnprior.
The size of the choir now varies from 65 - 95 members, both men and women. Each season, the choir rehearses for three concerts, two in December and one in May of the following year.
